Tom started playing the banjo at age 12. He would have preferred a white
electric guitar, like the one Tommy Steele played, but his budget dictated
that he took home his grandfather's tenor banjo instead- much to his
grandmother's satisfaction...

Paul started playing music at age 11. His first instrument was French horn,
his first bands were the local brass band and the West Brabant
Symphonie Orchestra. When he was 19, he moved to Amsterdam, where he became
involved in the local Classic Jazz scene....
